Background:
Stourbridge College is an amalgamation of aged buildings, shoehorned together on a crowded site in the centre of the Midlands town. The campus was built when consideration for disabled access was scarcely an issue. Thankfully, we now live in more enlightened times!

Solution:
The college called in Advance Mobility to help them upgrade the facility to comply with current DDA legislation, they commissioned a Ruby curved stair lift and a Sapphire vertical lift. Both installations required some alterations to the building – which is not a problem for our experienced installation staff. Working with college designated builders, Advance Mobility customised and installed the units with minimal inconvenience.

Result:
The college is now fully DDA compliant, offering further education courses for all members of the community.
