Background:
Although the Barnes Wallis Building at Umist in Manchester is not as old as some we have worked on, it was still built at a time when the needs of the disabled were scarcely considered in basic architectural plans.

Solution:
We needed to provide a simple, stylish, cost effective solution to supply access to all floors whilst not impeding doorways or stairways.

Result:
This elegant and practical Platform Lift fits in perfectly with the surrounding environment. It is easy to access yet does not obstruct main thoroughfares.
